Development of generalized tool life model for constant and variable speed turning

چکیده

Abstract In this research, a generalized tool life modelling for considering non-stationary cutting conditions was developed . particular, the first time in literature, model conceived predicting of when spindle speed variation SSV , one most effective techniques suppressing regenerative chatter vibrations, is used. The proposed formulation takes into account main parameters and associated to A dedicated experimental campaign turning tests executed data were used purposes. validation carried out performing additional tests. According analyzed technological scenario, it found that can be both at constant machining CSM adopting with maximum estimating error 6%.
